How to Help

Computing is a challenging subject because it’s not as simple as memorising facts and information. You have to apply knowledge and practise to get familiar with the type of problems that they’re likely to face.

Even if you can’t do the activities yourself, the best thing you can do is to prompt your child to explain what they’re doing, why they’re doing it and to talk through their processes. More times than not, they will recognise their mistake themselves through talking it through.
