In year 2 and 3, we’ve been ready to take what we learned about algorithms and start to use those skills in programming. We learned the difference:

We started by using the Beebots and challenged ourselves to code a variety of complex patterns. Our partners were keep track of the algorithm on their whiteboards and paper. This helped us when we needed to debug our work.

Whilst half the class were using the Beebots, the other half were practicing their coding skills using Code.org This has lots of levels that we can work through at our own pace. They start with angry bird maze levels and get trickier.
